Biography
I’m currently a Lederman Fellow working at Fermilab on the CMS experiment. My primary research interest is searching for physics Beyond the Standard Model. I’m particularly interested in looking for new particles that could be long-lived or result in other challenging and unconventional signatures. I’m also working on the timing detector upgrade to CMS for the High Luminosity LHC, and testing advanced timing sensors that will be necessary for future colliders.
As a PhD student I worked in the Harvard ATLAS group with Melissa Franklin. I spent most of my time looking for long-lived particles and working on the ATLAS Muon Spectrometer.
I’m originally from the Providence area, and received my BS in physics from Brown in 2013. In my free time I love to discuss books, unwind with trashy tv, and explore the world by bike.
