Biography
I obtained my Bachelor’s degrees in Applied Physics and Industrial Engineering and Management from the University of Twente, and my Master’s degree and PhD in Physics at ETH Zurich. My thesis topic was differential Higgs boson production cross sections and interpretation thereof in terms of effective field theory.
My current research interests are semi-visible jets, a model of dark matter in which jets are made up of both dark and ordinary matter. Furthermore, I am interested in using machine learning to perform reconstruction in particle detectors, with a focus on using graph neural networks for the High Granularity Calorimeter at CMS.
